Bharat Gopy's rare images from Nana Film Weekly's archives

BharatGopy.com was the recipient of a gracious overture recently. Nana Film Weekly, that had been faithfully archiving the Malayalam film industry since November 1972, graciously opened their digital archives and shared a repository of Bharat Gopy’s images – centred around his movies and from the movie sets.

All the images come courtesy of their veteran photographers, Kollam Mohan & P Krishnankutty, and each one of them is an invaluable asset to Bharat Gopy’s life as an actor, producer and director.

We have updated the entire repository under relevant heads across the website. Single images have been added on to the relevant Filmography Movie Profiles as “Nana Film Archives” and those with image sets have been added as separate albums in the Gallery Section. The movies include,

6. Yavanika

Rare images also include an undated image of Bharat Gopy in the recording studio with Vani Jayaram, and a rare moment with Dr KJ Yesudas.
