Chandradas, best-selling novelist meets his daughter Harita, estranged for the past 15 years, in a school felicitation that he is invited to. The meeting results in mixed feelings for both father and daughter. The father for his part is overjoyed, but the daughter is shattered as she realizes that the man whom she thought was her ‘father’ was not really so. The ‘ownership’ now has legal implications and the matter is duly taken to court where Harita is asked to choose between Chandradas and her now-foster parents.
